This last Friday Gogol Bordello played to what may quite possibly be the most eclectic audience I've ever seen in my entire life. Obviously Gogol bridges all sorts of gaps, musically speaking - gypsy, punk, circus, political, polka perhaps? - but honestly I've never seen such a random collection of people. This of course is a compliment to Eugene Hutz and crew.
So for those of you that haven't seen Gogol play, be prepared for the following fans: teenagers, psuedo-punks, actual punks, children, pregnant women, much older Eastern European women, jocks, random corporate men, your best friend's parents, goths with purple dreads, hippies and finally a few hipsters sitting on the side taking it all in.
