I'm sure we've all seen the Hulu ad, the one with Alec Baldwin where he finally seems to embrace his pop cultural identity as a sitcom star/spokesperson/dude who says crazy shit on talk shows. I never want to see Alec Baldwin in a movie ever again.
Anyway, Hulu is pretty great. Newsweek reported it's really giving YouTube an unexpected run for its money. It seems quality may actually begin trumping quantity on the Internet. If so, CBS really needs to get with the program.
The mega brand, which under its umbrella includes Showtime, CNet, ET, and Chow (whatever the hell that is), just released TV.com for the iPhone. The user-generated reviews are on the money: It's pretty wack. Oh yeah, I'd love to watch nineteen minutes of Beverly Hills 90210 on the go.
It's free, so I can't say don't waste your money. Just don't waste your time. And where the hell is our Hulu app? -SB
