Author Millard Kaufman, co-creator of Mr. Magoo, passed away due to complications from heart surgery on Saturday. McSweeney's published Bowl Of Cherries, a novel he wrote at the age of ninety, a couple years ago. This is what he said about potential readers of his book, "If they don't like it, they can go fuck themselves." Well Mr. Kaufman, I, for one, really enjoyed it. R.I.P.
